Dear all,
I hope this email finds you well. As the review editor of SLTI, I am now also responsible for our News section “News from the World of Sign Language, Interpreting and Translation”, at the back of the journal, which we introduced with the September issue. Some of you are already quite industriously sending me information about new services, courses, conferences, recently submitted dissertations etc. in the field of sign language interpreting and translation, sign linguistics, Deaf studies and Deaf culture and Translation and Interpreting Studies. Thank you! It’s much appreciated. Keep it coming…
I will be rounding up the news section for the coming March issue soon, and there is still space for some interesting items, so if you have come across anything recently, particularly if you know of any recently submitted MA or PhD dissertations linked to sign language interpreting/translation, or would like me to include any information on projects etc. that you are involved with, let me know as soon as possible, preferably by the end of the week. Each news item will only be a short paragraph long. Feel free to pass the message on to anybody who might have some interesting news.
I look forward to hearing from you and wish you all a very happy Christmas/New Year break,
Svenja
