In December of 2007, the Irish Association of Sign Language Interpreters closed after being around for over fifteen years in various shapes and forms. For the last 5 years, IASLI had a newsletter, IASLI News (imaginative title I know) produced quarterly. it was edited by myself and Catherine White, an ex-IASLI Chairperson and all round fantastic person.
I think it's a shame that the newsletter couldn't continue, and an even bigger shame that the contributions of the various people to it could be lost. So I have decided to share them. Here are all the past issues of IASLI News that I have - good reading to get a backdrop on the Irish interpreting situation.
The past issues are hosted at box.com so you'll see a screen first that you can click a link to the right issue in PDF format. I don't have all of them but as I add them I'll update this entry.
